Prepare your device

Before your virtual assessment, make sure you have a device with a stable internet connection. You can use a computer, tablet, or smartphone. Ensure your device’s camera and microphone are working correctly.

Install Microsoft Teams (optional)

For the best experience, we recommend installing Microsoft Teams on your device, but it is not mandatory. Downloading Microsoft Teams is free, but you need a Microsoft account, if you don’t have one. Please follow the steps below:

Check you setting on Microsoft Teams

Confirming your settings is important to make sure your microphone, camera and speakers are configured correctly in MS Teams. This is especially important if you are using an external device such as a headset or webcam to attend the meeting.

Access MS Teams settings

  1. Open your MS Teams
  2. Click the 3 dots in the top right corner of the MS Teams app 
  3. Click settings

Check audio settings

  1. Go to device settings
  2. Check audio device settings
  3. Check speaker settings
  4. Check microphone settings

Check camera settings

  1. Scroll down to the camera settings
  2. Make sure the right camera is selected – you should see yourself in the box below the camera
  3. Scroll up and start a test call to confirm your settings

Join the virtual assessment

Once your appointment has been confirmed our team will send you an email with the meeting link you can use to join your virtual appointment. When clicking on the link you will have the option to select if you would like to join in your browser or trough the MS Teams App (if installed).
