Jill McLarrie (PGDE, BSC hons, Psychology) joins ADHD direct as a seasoned Educator, Coach and mental health practitioner specialising in supporting neurodiversity and skilled in delivering CBT informed interventions for low mood and depression and anxiety. She offers a breadth of experience in supporting individuals to meet their fullest potential and thrives on embracing brain differences and affirming neurodiverse ways of thinking. Jill’s coaching approach incorporates a combination of CBT based techniques and strategies, Psycho-Education and mindfulness which allows individuals to identify challenge areas including and not limited to; planning and prioritisation, emotion regulation, task initiation and building self awareness. She offers support to make small, consistent behaviour changes, improving healthy habits and empowers clients to implement effective strategies. She is warm, empathetic, compassionate and curious and quickly establishes rapport and builds healthy working relationships in order to provide a high quality service to those in her care. When not coaching she can be found walking her dog and enjoying other forms of gentle movement, spending time with her children, reading, sketching and exploring exciting eateries and new places.
