ADHD Direct operates CCTV in its reception area to support the safety of patients, visitors and staff, and to investigate reported incidents or specific concerns about staff conduct.
The system records video and audio while operational.
Recorded footage is securely stored on a local CCTV hard drive. Access is restricted to management at ADHD Direct. Footage will only be viewed following a reported incident, a specific staff-conduct concern, or where access is necessary to meet a legal or data-protection requirement.
Routine footage is automatically cleared after 30 calendar days. A relevant section may be retained for longer where necessary for an investigation, complaint, safeguarding matter, legal claim or request from the police or another authorised body.
ADHD Direct relies on its legitimate interests in maintaining safety, investigating incidents and protecting patients, visitors, staff and its premises. Clear CCTV signs are displayed before people enter the monitored area.
You may ask to access footage containing your personal information, although it may be necessary to protect the identities and privacy of other people shown or heard in the recording.
If you have questions, wish to exercise your data-protection rights or raise a concern, please contact ADHD Direct through our Contact Us page or speak to a member of staff.
