We are delighted to introduce Iines Metsaniitty, a Trainee Counselling Psychologist joining us as part of her postgraduate training at Glasgow Caledonian University. As an organisation committed to the development of future clinicians, we are proud to support the next generation of psychologists by offering high-quality placements that blend learning, supervision, and real therapeutic impact.
Iines brings experience from NHS and third-sector settings, where she has supported individuals facing a wide range of emotional, relational, and neurodiversity-related challenges. She has a particular passion for working with ADHD and autism, shaped both by personal connection and clinical insight.
As a trainee, Iines works under close, regular supervision from qualified psychologists, ensuring that all therapeutic work meets the standards of safe practice, ethical care, and ongoing professional development. This structure allows clients to receive thoughtful, well-supported therapy at an accessible rate—£35 per session.
As part of our holistic approach, we offer a free 30-minute initial counselling consultation. This provides a space to talk through your concerns and consider whether counselling would be beneficial as part of your treatment. Spaces are limited and will be granted on a first come first served basis.
Her approach integrates Person-Centred Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, always tailored to the unique needs of each individual. She offers a warm, compassionate, and neuro-affirmative space where clients can explore their experiences, better understand themselves, and work towards meaningful personal goals.
We’re excited to continue investing in the education of brilliant emerging psychologists like Iines—and to make therapy more accessible in the process. If you’re looking for support and would value a collaborative, reflective, and well-supervised therapeutic space, we warmly invite you to connect with us and begin your journey.
